BodyWisdom for Mums

Welcome to BodyWisdom for Mums, a transformative 6-week Pilates program designed to help you connect with your body, restore hormonal balance, and cultivate vitality. This program is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of moms, addressing the physical, emotional, and hormonal challenges that often accompany motherhood.

The in person sessions will run on a Wednesday evening at 8.15pm at St Paul's Church, St Albans, and then each week you will get access to online content to help you stay on track between the sessions. 

Throughout the 6 weeks, you will embark on a holistic journey that combines the power of Pilates with lifestyle tips and practices to support your overall well-being. Here's what you can expect from BodyWisdom for Mums:

  • Mindful Pilates Workouts: Each week, you'll participate in carefully crafted Pilates workouts that focus on strengthening your core, improving posture, and enhancing overall body awareness. You will have access to online content that allows you to practice the exercises in between classes and build on your strength and flexibility. 

  • Pelvic Floor Conditioning: We prioritise the health of your pelvic floor, offering specialised exercises to strengthen and restore this crucial area of your body. You'll learn how to engage and release the pelvic floor muscles, promoting optimal function, and addressing common issues such as urinary incontinence and pelvic organ support.

  • Hormone Balancing Practices: Hormonal fluctuations can impact your energy levels, mood, and overall well-being. That's why I've integrated hormone balancing practices into the program. You'll explore gentle movements, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques that help regulate hormonal levels, reduce stress, and promote emotional balance.

  • Lifestyle Tips for Vitality: Motherhood can be demanding, leaving little time for self-care. In BodyWisdom for Moms, we provide practical lifestyle tips and strategies that support your vitality. From nourishing meal suggestions to relaxation techniques, we'll guide you in creating sustainable habits that prioritise your well-being.

  • Community and Support: As part of this program, you'll join a supportive community of like-minded moms on a similar journey. We encourage sharing experiences, offering encouragement, and providing a space for open dialogue and connection. You'll have access to an online members area and a supportive network to enhance your experience.
